OLTCSWA was formed in 1989 in an effort to create an organization specifically for social workers in long term care settings. OLTCSWA strives to be the regional leader in the ongoing definition and development of the professional role of the long term care social worker by providing representation, education, and networking.

Our Purpose

development of the professional role of the social
worker in the long term care facility.
· To provide consultation, mutual support, and resource materials to professionals delivering social services in long term care.
